WinkHaus proPilot: functionality and safety
The WinkHaus proPilot elements are made of steel with a corrosion-resistant coating. In addition to corrosion resistance, this ensures a long service life of the mechanism – the metal cassette of the lock and the fittings as a whole are designed for at least 25 thousand cycles.
Not only that, but even the basic WinkHaus proPilot configuration includes safety features:
– Anti-burglary gear
– Anti-burglary angle gear with a mushroom-like trunnion
The security of the window can be further enhanced with the Secustic locking handle or the key handle.
Child safety with WinkHaus proPilot
To protect the window from accidental opening by children, a child safety lock can be installed on the structure:
– The lock is installed during the installation of the window or at any time during the operation of the structure
– In the closed position, the lock prevents the sash from opening
– The sash can be opened for ventilation or set to micro-ventilation mode
WinkHaus proPilot: European quality
The WinkHaus proPilot system has been tested to European standards:
– EN 13126-8 – resistance test for fittings
– EN 1191 – testing for the stability of windows and doors
The reliability of the system is confirmed by the certificate of the ift Rosenheim Institute for Window Technology (QM 328).
